THE CALLING OF CONTENT

July 27th, 2022

To put it simply: an unfortunate series of events lead me to the most fortunate decision in my career: becoming a content creator. In every project you get involved in there are many factors that make it special. There are two that I will like to tell you about:

CONTENT LASTS FOREVER
It doesn't matter if it's a commercial, a corporate video or an influencer video, that particular file will live forever. The characters, the images and the magic of editing come together to make it a spot in time that will exist forever. It may sound cheesy but content really is immortal. Have you ever watched a commercial from the 80´s or the 90´s and have a certain nostalgia? Maybe Ronald McDonald inviting you to come and order a happy meal or Michael Jackson dancing at the first superbowl halftime show ever?It reminds you of a certain period of time in your life, most importantly: it reminds you of how you felt, and if you haven't already, trust me you will someday!

CONTENT GIVES PEOPLE A VOICE
Another part of my job it's helping clients communicate with the world. How many times have you heard someone say: I wish I would not say the things I said? Well in content creation you can really control what you are going to say. The power of editing gives you the chance to adjust your ideas even after you say them. The process of listening to our customers out and guiding them through the creative process so they can express themselves properly is really powerful and fulfilling. It's almost like giving a voice to someone so they can be heard.

I could go on for many pages writing about the things I like about content creation, but the only thing you need to know is: that it makes me feel whole. It's a real blessing to have the opportunity to create a video out of nothing, to turn ideas into content and If you do it right, you might be lucky enough to inspire your audience. Content creation it's not a profession or a job, it's a calling that I love to answer every morning.
